Omega Shenron, also known as Syn Shenron, is the ultimate antagonist of Dragon Ball GT and the final boss of that series' Shadow Dragon Saga. Born from the accumulation of negative energy within the Dragon Balls caused by decades of wishes — each wish's selfish or destructive nature generating dark karmic buildup — Omega Shenron is the fusion of all seven Shadow Dragons into a single entity of catastrophic power.Omega Shenron, also known as Syn Shenron, is the ultimate antagonist of Dragon Ball GT and the final boss of that series' Shadow Dragon Saga. Omega Shenron absorbed all of their powers and elements, combining them into a form that dwarfed even Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta at full power. His design is a dark mirror of Shenron: where the Eternal Dragon is emerald green and majestic, Omega Shenron is obsidian black with blood-red spikes, a cruel face, and an aura of pure malignance that chokes the sky itself. His power set is apocalyptic: he controls all elements, can regenerate from any damage, fires Negative Karma Balls that corrupt anything they touch, and can manipulate the very energy of the universe. His Dragon Thunder technique summons lightning storms that devastate landscapes. His most terrifying ability is Minus Energy, the concentrated corruption of every selfish wish ever made, which poisons everything it contacts. Against Omega Shenron, even the fusion of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta into SSJ4 Gogeta was not enough — or rather, Gogeta's fusion timer ran out before he could land a killing blow due to the form's extreme energy consumption. In the final desperate moments, Goku gathered energy for the Universal Spirit Bomb — the largest Spirit Bomb ever created, drawing power from every inhabitant of Earth, every Namekian on New Namek, every soul in Other World, and beings across the galaxy — and hurled it at Omega Shenron, destroying him and purifying the Dragon Balls. Shenron then appeared, declared the Dragon Balls would be sealed away for a hundred years to prevent further corruption, and took Goku with him into a final, mystical departure.
