The original Kid Buu was pure, mindless chaos, a pink-skinned creature of absolute destruction who destroyed countless galaxies before being sealed in a magical cocoon. When Bibidi's son Babidi awakened him on Earth millennia later, the accumulated positive influence of absorbed kind-hearted victims, particularly the gentle Grand Supreme Kai, had transformed him into the childlike, naive Fat Buu. This version befriended Mr. Satan and a small dog named Bee, forming the first genuine emotional connections of his existence and learning that killing was wrong. However, the evil within Buu manifested as a separate entity, the thin grey Evil Buu, who absorbed Fat Buu to become the menacing Super Buu. Super Buu then absorbed Gotenks, Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan to achieve even greater power levels, becoming Buutenks and Buuhan. Ultimately, Vegeta's desperate gambit freed the absorbed fighters, reverting Buu back to his original Kid Buu form, the weakest in raw power but by far the most dangerous due to his complete lack of restraint. Kid Buu destroyed Earth on a whim, forcing Goku and Vegeta to battle him on the Sacred World of the Kais. After an epic struggle, Goku destroyed Kid Buu with a Spirit Bomb powered by the entire Earth's population. The good Fat Buu survived and became Mr. Satan's roommate and a beloved Z-Fighter ally.
