Long ago, Bojack and his crew of Hera-seijin warriors rampaged across the galaxy until the four Kais of the four quadrants combined their power to seal him inside a star. When King Kai's death during the Cell Games weakened the seal, Bojack and his crew — Bujin, Bido, Kogu, and Zangya — escaped and immediately set their sights on Earth, drawn by the promise of a planet ripe for conquest. The timing of Bojack's arrival is thematically significant: with Goku dead, the Z-Fighters weakened and demoralized, and the world still reeling from Cell's terror, there had never been a better moment for a villain to strike. Bojack's design is visually striking — turquoise skin, wild orange hair, a massive muscular frame, and a transformation that turns his skin green and his hair red, amplifying his already formidable power. His fighting style is purely brutal: overwhelming physical force delivered with sadistic glee. He easily defeated Vegeta and Trunks, tortured Gohan, and would have succeeded in his conquest were it not for Goku's single intervention from Other World — a momentary teleportation punch that broke Bojack's hold on Gohan and reminded his son that he was never truly alone. Inspired by his father's act, Gohan ascended to Super Saiyan 2 and dispatched Bojack's entire crew single-handedly, killing Bojack himself with a single Super Kamehameha through the chest. Bojack Unbound is notable for being the first film to fully showcase Super Saiyan 2 Gohan as the main character, filling the narrative gap between the Cell and Buu Sagas. Bojack himself, while not the most complex villain, provided a satisfying threat for the Z-Fighters to overcome in Goku's absence, proving that the next generation could defend the Earth without their father's presence....
